Contest Rules  

1. Contest Period

The Optik “Proudly Canadian” Subscription Contest runs from September 1, 2025 to 11:59 p.m. ET on December 15, 2025.

- Early Bird Deadline: Submit your entry by September 30, 2025 to be eligible for the Early Bird Draw on October 1, 2025.

- Bonus Prize Entry Deadline: All entries submitted by December 15, 2025 with a completed bonus question will be considered for Bonus Prizes.  

- Final Draw: All eligible entries received by December 15, 2025, will be entered into the Final Prize Draw on December 18, 2025.

2. Eligibility

This contest is open to Canadian residents who are eye care or optical industry professionals, including:

- Optometrists

- Opticians

- Optometric Assistants

- Ophthalmic/optical/optometric staff

- Sales reps and suppliers

Limit: One entry per person and email address. Duplicate entries will be disqualified.

Not eligible: Employees, representatives, or independent contractors of VuePoint IDS Inc., as well as their immediate family or household members.

3. How to Enter

1.  Scan the QR code or visit the contest page.

2.  Complete the contest form using your full name, practice and/or company name, profession/role, Province, and a valid email address.

3.  To be eligible for Bonus Prizes, complete the bonus question:

“What makes you Proudly Canadian as a member of the Canadian Eye Care industry?”

4.  Submit your entry and you’re in!

No purchase necessary. Internet access is required.

4. Prizes

One4ALL Ultimate Virtual Gift Cards -  accepted at a wide range of Canadian retailers including Tim Hortons, Air Canada, Cineplex, Gap, Golf Town, and more -  will be awarded. No substitutes allowed.

Prizes include:

 - Early Bird Prizes: Five $50 value gift cards awarded by random draw from entries submitted by September 30.

- Bonus Prizes: Four $100  value gift cards selected by the editors of Optik based on responses to the bonus question.

- Final Draw Prizes: Ten $25 value gift cards awarded by random draw from all eligible entries received by December 15.

Prize values and quantities may vary at VuePoint’s discretion. 

5. Winner Selection & Notification

- Early Bird and Final Draw winners will be selected by random draw.

- Bonus Prize winners will be chosen by the editors of Optik based on creativity and originality of the bonus question response.

- All winners will be contacted by email using the information provided in the entry form.

To claim a prize, selected entrants must respond by email and accept the prize within five (5) business days of being notified. Failure to respond within five (5) days may result in forfeiture, and an alternate winner may be selected. Acceptance of a prize indicates your permission to publicly announce your name, practice and/or company name in Optik media. 

6. General Conditions

- One entry per person/email – duplicates will be disqualified.

- All entrants will be subscribed to the following Optik digital newsletters including Optik Breaking News, Optik INFO, Optik XTRA, Optik DIRECT. Subscribers may unsubscribe at any time.

- Prizes are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.

- VuePoint IDS Inc. reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest at any time without notice.

- By entering, you consent to the use of your name and city of residence for winner announcement purposes, without additional compensation.

VuePoint IDS is not responsible for late, lost, or misdirected entries due to technical issues.

7. Privacy

Information collected will be used for contest administration and Optik subscription communication only, in accordance with VuePoint IDS Inc.’s Privacy Policy.
